Your HSRT Starter Pack
10 practice questions covering all five reasoning domains, full explanations for every answer, and a 2-week daily study roadmap.
The most common HSRT mistake
Students prepare for the HSRT the same way they prepare for the TEAS — memorizing anatomy, chemistry, and science facts. The HSRT does not test content knowledge. It tests how you reason through scenarios. Students who go in expecting science questions are the ones who get caught off guard.

10 HSRT Practice Questions
One question per reasoning domain, then five mixed. Tap any question to reveal the answer and explanation.
2-Week Study Roadmap
Two weeks is enough time to build strong reasoning fluency for the HSRT. Follow this in order.
Week 1Build Domain Fluency
Learn to identify claims, reasons, and hidden assumptions. Practice breaking apart 10 arguments and labeling each part.
Practice drawing conclusions from data. Focus on the difference between what the information shows vs. what it proves.
Practice identifying strong and weak reasoning. Ask yourself: what would break this argument? What supports it?
Practice syllogisms: All A are B. X is A. Therefore X is B. These questions have certain answers — get comfortable with certainty.
Practice identifying patterns and generalizing carefully. Know the difference between what data suggests vs. what it proves.
Go back through every question you got wrong this week. Don't just check the answer — understand why the reasoning works the way it does.
Take the day off. Reasoning skills consolidate during rest. No new content today.
Week 2Exam Simulation
Take a full mixed-domain set without a timer. Focus entirely on accuracy and reasoning quality.
For every question you missed: write down in your own words why the correct reasoning works. Don't just read the explanation.
Take another mixed set timed. Aim for roughly 45 seconds per question. Build pace gradually — accuracy first.
Exam conditions: no phone, no interruptions. 50 minutes for a full practice set. Treat it like the real thing.
Identify your single weakest domain from the Day 11 simulation. Spend today on that domain only.
Skim your wrong-answer notes from the week. Don't start anything new. Reinforce what you know.
Trust your preparation. Read each question stem carefully before looking at the choices. You have more time than you think.
