1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using StudyBuddy (operated by EdExpert LLC), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to studybuddy.live.

2. Description of Services

StudyBuddy provides AI-powered exam preparation content, practice questions, video lectures, and diagnostic tools for nursing and allied health entrance and licensure exams including the TEAS 7, HESI A2, HSRT, and NCLEX-RN. Our content is developed by doctoral-level health sciences faculty.

We do not guarantee any particular exam score or admission outcome. Our content is designed to support your preparation, not to replace your own study effort or professional academic advising.

3. Accounts and Access

To access paid content, you must create an account on studybuddy.live. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You may not share your account with others or allow multiple users to access a single subscription.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Subscription Terms, Billing, and Cancellation

Auto-renewal. All StudyBuddy paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. By providing payment information and completing checkout, you authorize EdExpert LLC, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the price and interval shown at checkout, until you cancel.

Billing cadences and prices.

• Monthly Access: $29.00 USD plus applicable taxes, billed every month on the same calendar day as your initial purchase, until you cancel.
• 3-Month (Pro) Access: $59.00 USD plus applicable taxes, billed every 3 months on the same calendar day as your initial purchase, until you cancel.

Promotional periods and free trials. If your subscription begins with a free promotional period (such as a 7-day or 14-day free trial), you will not be charged during that period. Unless you cancel before the promotional period ends, your paid subscription will begin automatically and you will be charged the price and at the cadence shown at checkout. Promotional periods are available to new customers only.

Promo codes and discounts. Discount codes apply to the first payment only unless otherwise stated at checkout. Subsequent renewals are billed at the standard price for your plan.

How to cancel. You may cancel at any time by visiting studybuddy.live/manage-subscription while signed in, then following the on-screen prompts to open the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access until that date. You may also email support@studybuddy.live for cancellation assistance.

Refunds. No refunds or credits are provided for partial subscription periods unless required by law. The 3-month Pro plan is subject to a separate satisfaction guarantee described in the next paragraph.

3-Month Pro plan satisfaction guarantee. If you complete 80% or more of course content, complete 1,000 or more practice questions, and maintain 30 days of active study, and you are not satisfied with your preparation, you may request a full $59 refund or 60 additional days of free access. This guarantee is satisfaction-based and is not contingent on exam results. To claim, email support@studybuddy.live.

Price changes. The subscription fee is subject to change upon notice. We will notify active subscribers by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the change applies.

Payment processing. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store payment card information.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on StudyBuddy — including practice questions, video lectures, study guides, diagnostic tools, and written materials — is the intellectual property of EdExpert LLC or its content partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Your personal study data and diagnostic results belong to you. We use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our platform.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or redistribute course content or practice questions
• Use automated tools to scrape or download content
• Attempt to circumvent access controls or subscription requirements
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

StudyBuddy is provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of our content. Exam formats and requirements change — while we strive to keep content current, we cannot guarantee that all content reflects the most recent exam specifications at all times.

We do not guarantee any specific exam score, admission outcome, or professional licensure result. Our content is a study aid, not a guarantee of performance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdExpert LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of StudyBuddy, including but not limited to exam failure, loss of admission opportunity, or loss of employment opportunity. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Minnesota.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of StudyBuddy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email.
