Tested at Another School? PSC May Accept Your Scores
Pensacola State accepts HESI A2 scores from other testing institutions, subject to PSC Testing Center policies. If you have already tested elsewhere, contact the PSC Nursing Department before scheduling a new exam — you may not need to retest.
This is one of the most student-friendly policies in Florida nursing admissions. Use it. Test at whichever location works best for your schedule, then submit scores directly to PSC.
Prep Strategy by Program Track
5 scored sections, all at 75%. Anatomy & Physiology and Grammar are required — these are the sections most students underestimate. A&P in particular requires dedicated science review.
3 scored sections at 65%. Lower bar, fewer sections — but Reading and Math still require real preparation. Most students can hit 65% with 3–4 weeks of focused study.
