The 6-week TEAS 7 study plan
1Baseline + Science A&P I
Take a full-length diagnostic practice test to establish starting section scores. Then begin Human Anatomy and Physiology: cardiovascular system (heart anatomy, cardiac cycle, blood pressure), respiratory system (mechanics of breathing, gas exchange), and renal system (nephron function, fluid balance). A&P is the highest-weighted topic on the TEAS 7 Science section.
2Science A&P II + Biology
Continue A&P: nervous system (neurons, synaptic transmission, CNS vs. PNS), endocrine system (hormones, feedback loops, major glands), immune system (innate vs. adaptive, antibodies). Then move to Biology: cell structure and function, cell division (mitosis and meiosis), genetics (Mendelian inheritance, DNA structure, protein synthesis).
3Science Chemistry + Scientific Reasoning
Cover Chemistry: atomic structure, the periodic table, chemical bonding (ionic, covalent), chemical reactions and balancing equations, acids and bases, solutions and concentration. Then Scientific Reasoning: experimental design, interpreting data tables and graphs, identifying variables, drawing conclusions from evidence.
4Mathematics
Cover all Math topics systematically: arithmetic (fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, proportions), algebra (solving equations, inequalities, word problems), measurement and data (unit conversions, reading tables and charts), statistics and geometry. Drill 30–40 timed questions per day. The calculator is permitted — practice using it efficiently.
5Reading + English + Practice Exam
Reading: main idea identification, inference questions, author purpose and tone, vocabulary in context, interpreting visual information. English and Language Usage: grammar rules (subject-verb agreement, pronoun case, modifier placement), punctuation, sentence structure, spelling conventions. Take a second full-length timed practice exam at the end of the week.
6Weak areas + Final exam
Return to your two lowest-scoring sections from the week 5 practice exam. Complete targeted practice questions in those areas only. Take a final full-length timed practice exam in the first half of week 6. Review errors only — do not introduce new content. Stop active studying 24 hours before your exam.
